At E3 last year, CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 2077 would be releasing in April 2020. However, the team today announced the hotly anticipated title will not be making that release window. Instead, the game now hits in September.
In a note from CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski and studio head Adam Badowski, the game is complete and playable, but not quite to the point the team would like. The note says the extra time will be used for playtesting, fixing, and polishing. You can see the full note from CD Projekt Red below.
