Five Nights At Freddy's Movie Breaks Even More Box Office Records

The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie continues to soar at the box office. After another weekend in theaters, it has now earned $136 million in the US and $147 million from international markets for a total of $283 million so far. That makes it Blumhouse’s highest-grossing movie of all time.

The previous record-holder was 2016’s Split, which earned $278.5 million globally. Some of Blumhouse’s other big recent hits have included Get Out and Halloween, which both earned more than $250 million at the global box office.

Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse, thanked director Emma Tammi, series creator Scott Cawthon, the cast and crew, the team from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and distributor Universal Pictures for helping make the movie a success.
