Indie action platformer The Messenger released last year on PC and Switch to acclaim from fans and critics alike, as its close adherence to NES games that inspired it combining with non-traditional ideas like switching graphical styles with time travel appealed to a lot of fans. Now players on the PlayStation 4 will get to see what all the fuss is about as the game releases in just one week on the console.
You can check out a gameplay trailer of the PlayStation 4 version below, but it seems to be identical to the PC and Switch releases.

The new picnic expansion is arriving to all platforms, including the PS4, when it launches later this year. Fans of old school platforming should take a look at the PS4 version of The Messenger when it launches on March 19.
