Tom Hiddleston Looks Back On Loki's Season 2 Finale

There are so many unfinished stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that it was genuinely a surprise when the Loki Season 2 finale seemingly brought the story of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief to a meaningful conclusion. To protect his friends and save the multiverse, Loki completed his evolution into the God of Stories and became the protector of the infinite timelines at the End of Time. During a recent interview with Variety, Hiddleston was asked if he would return for Loki Season 3. And while Hiddleston couldn’t answer that question, he confirmed that he’s happy with the way Loki’s 12-year character arc ended.

“I truthfully don’t know [about Season 3], said Hiddleston. “I am so proud of where we landed in Season 2. To go from this lost, broken soul in Asgard, and be given a second chance and learn so much about life that he actually gives himself to protect other people, has been such an honor.”

Hiddleston also credited the show’s success to his supporting cast, including Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, and Ke Huy Quan.
